Mara Lookabaugh is a licensed architect and interior designer in New York State with a focus on ground-up homes, renovations and interiors in upstate New York and the surrounding regions.
Working across new construction and adaptive reuse, the studio draws from regional context, careful proportion, and a grounding in craft and time-tested vernacular. Each project is developed through a collaborative, hands-on process with clients, builders, and craftspeople, from early design through construction.
Before establishing her practice, Mara worked for over ten years on residential and commercial projects in New York City. She holds a Master of Architecture from Pratt Institute.
